Three Exchange Program Options

ISE offers three different exchange program timelines to France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain and Switzerland.  

  • Go First (9 weeks) 

  • Host First (9 weeks) 

  • Summer Exchange (3 weeks) 

Go First

  • Application due mid-October 

  • Duration: 9 weeks 

  • Travel: early February - late April 

  • Host: late August - early November 

  • Travel happens in one school year and hosting in the next school year 

Host First

  • Application due mid-April

  • Duration: 9 weeks

  • Host: late August - early November 

  • Travel: early February - early April 

  • Exchanges happen in the same school year 

Summer Program

  • Application due end of February 

  • Duration: 3 weeks 

  • Travel early July 

  • Host late July - early August 

  • Exchange partner will travel back to Canada with you in July
