Adventure / Activity Program in
BRITAIN : JULY 2010 for students age 14-17 years
3 WEEKS IN
WEYMOUTH (12 JULY - 02 AUGUST)
The Program is based in a
multi-activity centre located 4 km outside of Weymouth, in
the heart of Dorset's World Heritage site - "The Jurassic
Coast". This centre is set on 45 acres of grounds with
a private beach.
THE PROGRAM

Multi-activity summer program
for students with professional staff and supervision
- Wide range of
physical and cultural activities to challenge and promote
group spirit, social awareness
and leadership skills
- Active,
experiential learning in a safe, supervised, multi-national environment
- Excursions
with an educational focus
ACCOMMODATION
- The Weymouth
multi-activity centre is a modern facility with quadruple
rooms (bunk beds),
all with en-suite washrooms
- A cafeteria
style dining room is provided for all meals taken in
residence
- Laundry
facilities, common rooms and internet access are available
ON SITE INDOOR AND OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL
FACILITIES
Participants may choose from a wide variety of sports
activities and cultural initiatives with professional
instructors, including but not limited to:

EXCURSIONS
- Day trips to
locations of historic and cultural interest

and one evening excursion to Weymouth
- Isle of
Portland (for water sports), site of sailing events for the
2012 Olympics
- Two day-long
trips (on weekends) to Bath, Salisbury and Stonehenge
- Final weekend in
London
PROGRAM
COSTS FOR BRITAIN
The cost of the program is $3900 and includes:
- Return international airfare, from Toronto with Ontario escort(s)
- Connecting
surface travel in Britain
- All inclusive travel insurance with emergency medical
- 19 nights
accommodation and all meals at the Weymouth Centre
- All on-site
activities, instruction and supervision at the Weymouth
Centre
- Group
excursions, tours and admissions
- Final weekend
in London; 2 nights hotel accommodation, escorts and meals
- Program handbook, ISE carry-on sports bag
- ISE administration fee
Payment Schedule
- $500 deposit with application
- $1700 due May 01
- $1700 balance due June 01
Please note: $250 of the deposit is
non-refundable; the remainder of the deposit is
non-refundable 30 days before program start. All monies are
refunded if space is not available; applications received
before May 01 will be given first priority.

STEP 3:
Submit the original completed Recommendation Form, and
the Full Application Form with attachments
to ISE Ontario.

APPLICATIONS RECEIVED BEFORE MAY 01 WILL BE GIVEN FIRST
PRIORITY.
PLEASE NOTE THAT PARTICIPANTS IN THIS PROGRAM MUST BE
SUFFICIENTLY FIT BOTH MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY. ALL
ACTIVITIES WILL BE SUPERVISED BY PROFESSIONAL STAFF AND
INSTRUCTORS TO ENSURE MAXIMUM SAFETY. MEDICAL AND WAIVER FORMS WILL BE
REQUIRED (FORMS WILL
BE PROVIDED BY ISE ONTARIO).
